Harris & Olson ‘merge’ with 76BrandFilms: Video Content Double Punch
Harris & Olson founder Joan Holloway-Harris sees opportunity in branded video content in merger with 76BrandFilms.
TORONTO, NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES May 20, 2015 /AP/ – Former Sterling Cooper & Partners Executive Joan Holloway-Harris is getting into the branded video content game. The production company she built with renowned Creative Director Peggy Olson is merging with 76BrandFilms. While analysts have described the move as an acquisition rather than merger, Joan is demonstrating her usual cool confidence.
“I thought the folks at 76BrandFilms would feel better if we called it a merger, like they had some say in it,” said Joan from her Hollywood studio.”
“I’m thrilled with this merger,” said 76BrandFilms Video Creative Director Mike Edgell.
“I can’t imagine a more exciting collective of creativity, storytelling and craft,” said former colleague and principal yogi of Bubble n’ Bliss day spa Don Draper.
Holloway-Harris has a track record of picking a winner. She won the first Oscar for an industrial film. The Academy added that category for her, along with the Client Wanted Viral lifetime achievement award.
